Jess is British and French but now lives in Iceland. She started crocheting back when she was only 17, and hasn't stopped since, fitting it around her engineering studies (and sometimes even in class, but don't let on!).
Emma-Justine is from Connecticut and learned to crochet as an act of teenage rebellion towards her mother, who is an avid knitter.
They met when Emma-Justine came to Toulouse to study wine, and realised that crocheting can be more friendlier with two.
More recently, Jess has taught her French boyfriend Maxime to crochet and he is now an honorary member of the Transatlantic Crochet team.
