Materials

  • 3 mm hook

  • 3.5 mm hook

  • 100g DK yarn in white, small amounts in skin tone, yellow, gold

  • 2 x safety eyes

  • yarn needle

  • 10 cm metal star hoop

  • scissors

  • stitch markers

• Magic ring (MR)

• Chain (ch)

• Single crochet (sc)

• Increase single crochet (inc)

• Decrease single crochet (dec)

• Half double crochet (hdc)

• Double crochet (dc)

• Surface crochet

• Front loop only (flo)

Instructions

--Arms (make 2)--


Worked in continuous rounds.

In skin tone, with 3 mm hook:

Round 1: 4 sc in MR (4)

Round 2: (sc, inc) x 2 (6)

Round 3: sc around (6), change to white yarn on last stitch

Round 4: In flo, 2 inc, sc around (8)

Round 5: sc, 2 inc, sc around (10)

Round 6: sc, 2 inc, sc around (12)

Round 7: dec x 2, sc around (10)

Round 8: dec x 2, sc around (8)

Rounds 9-10: sc around (8)

Round 11: dec around (4)

Finish off, leave a long tail for sewing.

Worked in continuous rounds.

In white, with 3 mm hook:

Round 1: 6 sc in MR (6)

Round 2: inc around (12)

Round 3: (sc , inc) around (18)

Round 4: (2 sc, inc) around (24)

Round 5: (3 sc, inc) around (30)

Round 6: in blo, sc around (30)

Round 7: sc around (30)

Round 8: (3 sc, dec) around (24)

Round 9: (2 sc, dec) around (18)

Round 10: (sc, dec) around (12), change to skin tone on last stitch and stuff the body.

Round 11: in blo, (sc, inc) around (18)

Round 12: (2 sc, inc) around (24)

Round 13: (3 sc, inc) around (30)

Rounds 14-16: sc around (30)

Round 17: (3 sc, dec) around (24)

Insert safety eyes on row 15, 5 sts apart

In yellow, with 3.5 mm hook:

Round 1: 6 hdc in MR, join with slst, ch 1 (6)

Round 2: 2 hdc in each st around, join with slst, ch 1 (12)

Round 3: (hdc, hdc-inc) around, join with slst, ch 1 (18)

Round 4: (2 hdc, hdc-inc) around, join with slst, ch 1 (24)

Round 5: (3 hdc, hdc-inc) around, join with slst, ch 1 (30)

Round 6: (4 hdc, hdc-inc) around, join with slst, ch 1 (36)

Round 7: 2 sc in next 27 stitches, join with slst (63)

Finish off, leaving long tail for sewing.

--Skirt--


Worked in 6 continuous rounds.

With 3 mm hook:

Round 1: Turn angel upside-down, in front loops of round 6 of body, join yarn, and sc around in

each loop (30)

Round 2: (5 sc, inc) around (36)


Working bottom to top, work the diagram as the skirt.



Note: The first stitch of the repeat is worked into the same stitch as the last stitch of the repeat

before.


Once the skirt is finished, sc around to join the metal star hoop to the bottom of the skirt.

--Wings (make 2)--


In white (optional: use gold thread at the same time by wrapping it around the white yarn), with 3.5

mm hook:

Round 1: 6 sc in MR (6)

Round 2: inc around (12)

Round 3: (sc, inc) around (18)

Round 4: (2 sc, inc) around (24)

Round 5: (3 sc, inc) around (30)

Fold circle in half, stitch the two sides together in the first stitch with a sc.


!!This sc should be at one end of the semi-circle that the folded circle makes.!!


Work up along the edge of the semi-circle with this sc at the bottom end.

Row 6: ch3, hdc in 3rd st from hook, sc on the circle.

Row 7: ch4, hdc in 3rd st from hook, hdc in chain, sc on the circle.

Row 8: ch5, hdc in 3rd st from hook, 2 hdc in chain, sc on the circle.

Row 9: ch6, hdc in 3rd st from hook, 3 hdc in chain sc on the circle.

Row 10: ch7, hdc in 3rd st from hook, 4 hdc in chain sc on the circle.

Row 11: ch8, hdc in 3rd st from hook, 5 hdc in chain sc on the circle.

Row 12: sc in remaining stitches on the semi circle.


Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing.


Use surface crochet to embroider a halo on to her hair then sew all

the pieces together.
