Lace-up fingerless gloves

Materials
6mm hook
100g worsted weight yarn
2 x 25cm of ribbon
yarn needle
scissors
Stitches
• Chain (ch)
• Half double crochet (hdc)
• Double crochet (dc)
Instructions
RIGHT HAND
Ch 16
Row 1. hdc in fourth ch from hook (counts as hdc + ch 1), ch 1, sk next st *hdc in next st,
ch1, sk next st* - repeat between ** until the next to last st, hdc in last st (8 hdc + 7 ch)
Rows 2 – 7. ch 2 (counts as dc), turn, dc along (14)
Row 8. ch 2 (counts as dc), turn, dc 5, ch 5, skip 5 stitches, dc 3 (9 dc + 5 ch)
Rows 9 – 12. ch 2 (counts as dc), turn, dc along (14)
Row 13. ch3 (counts as hdc + ch 1), turn, hdc in next st, ch 1, sk next st *hdc in next st, ch1,
sk next st* - repeat between ** until the next to last st, hdc in last st
Finish off, weave in ends.
With approx ¾ ft / 25cm of ribbon, weave between the ch-1 spaces to join the two parts, tie to
secure.
