Materials

  • 3.5 mm hook

  • DK yarn: red and green

  • Black yarn OR black beads

Round 1: 4 sc in MR, ch 1, turn (4)

Attach red yarn to the top of the watermelon slice, sc around.

Join zip, and sc around.

If you want to add a bag strap, mark the edge seams, as you sc around, 2 stitches before the marker dc, skip two stitches, dc in the next stitch, then continue the scs.

Weave in the ends.

If you did not use beads, embroider the seeds on with black yarn.
