The Little Mermaid
Despite originally creating this cosplay in 2017, it was first worn in public at the Toulouse Game Show competition in November 2019.
The idea for this cosplay came about when Jess was commissioned to make a mermaid tail blanket for a friend - what if it could be made wearable?
The tail is entirely crocheted, with a zip on one side. The bra is an upcycled bra with a crochet covering, and this wig was the start of a serious addiction.
Jess won the "Judge's favourite" prize - not bad for a first time!
